Renewal rarely happens on a schedule. What a pilgrimage can do is take away the things that usually crowd it out: the phone, the commute, the meals eaten standing up. In Assisi the day-trippers leave by late afternoon and the town goes quiet around the tomb of St. Francis. In Medjugorje the whole village stops for the evening programme. In Lourdes the grotto is open all night.

Our itineraries keep two bases rather than six, put one meaningful place in the morning and one in the afternoon, and leave the hours between them alone. Confession is available every day. Nobody is asked to explain why they came.

We will not promise what you will find. We can promise the conditions: silence that is actually silent, a priest who has time, and a few days in a place where people have been starting over for centuries.
