Allow separately for arrival and onward travel. Fátima is about 130 km north of Lisbon, roughly 1.5 hours by road or express bus from Lisbon Sete Rios, and about 2 hours from Porto. A late transfer from Lisbon can leave much less usable time than the package’s day count suggests.
Fátima · YOUR QUESTION, ANSWERED
How many days should I spend in Fátima?
Two full days can provide a useful first visit to the sanctuary and the shepherds’ village of Aljustrel, about 2 km away. Add time if you want a slower retreat pace or are attending a major anniversary gathering on May 12 to 13 or October 12 to 13. This is a planning recommendation, not a shrine requirement.
