The parish's guide describes both hills. On Apparition Hill the path passes bronze reliefs of the joyful and sorrowful mysteries, installed in 1989, and of the glorious mysteries, added in 2002, to a large wooden cross marking where, the visionaries say, the Lady first called for peace on June 26, 1981; the Blue Cross at the foot of the hill, from 1985, is where Ivan's prayer group gathers. The parish prays the rosary there on Sundays at 4:00 p.m. in summer and 2:00 p.m. in winter.

Cross Mountain's path follows the Stations of the Cross, with bronze reliefs replacing the original wooden crosses in 1988, and the parish prays the Way of the Cross there on Fridays at 4:00 p.m. in summer and 2:00 p.m. in winter. The inscription on the cross reads: To Jesus Christ, Redeemer of the human race, as a sign of their faith, love and hope. A bronze relief near the top marks where Fr. Slavko Barbarić died on November 24, 2000.

What to wear is the practical point. Both paths are loose limestone, polished by millions of feet and slippery when wet; trail shoes or sturdy sneakers with tread, a hat, and a liter of water per person are the minimum, and a walking stick helps on the descent, which is harder than the climb. Go early in summer, before the heat, and carry a flashlight for a night climb. The existing pages on how difficult Apparition Hill is, whether Cross Mountain is harder, and what to bring for a hill walk cover pace and alternatives for those who cannot climb.
