The Portiuncula indulgence has four conditions: confession within about eight days, Communion, a church visit with the Our Father and Creed, and prayer for the Pope's intentions; it dates from 1216 under Honorius III. Medjugorje's June 25 anniversary of the reported apparitions is also a pilgrimage date. Shrines publish their programs a few months before each feast.
