The other papal basilicas follow a similar morning and late-afternoon pattern, again without publishing languages: St. John Lateran 7:00 a.m.–noon and 3:30–6:30 p.m.; St. Mary Major 7:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. and 3:30–6:45 p.m.; St. Paul Outside the Walls 8:30 a.m.–noon and 4:00–6:30 p.m.

Among parishes, St. Patrick’s on Via Boncompagni (the American parish) offers confession in English for 30 minutes before the 6:00 p.m. Saturday Vigil Mass, usually 5:15 to 5:45 p.m., by appointment, and San Silvestro in Capite (English-speaking Pallottines) schedules confessions around its Masses. The Pontifical North American College’s Visitors Office lists American priests hearing confessions in English. Check each schedule before relying on a time.
