The parish evening program runs year-round: the Rosary begins at 6:00 p.m. from June to August and at 5:00 p.m. from September to May, followed by Mass about an hour later. Winter visits from November to March are quiet and inexpensive, but days are short, rain and wind are common on the hills, and some pensions close.
For a first pilgrimage, a week in late May, early June, or late September gives comfortable climbing weather, full confession schedules, and easier bookings; check the current program on the parish website before fixing dates.
