Confession is organized by language. Priests of many nationalities serve in the Chapels of Reconciliation, and in practice English is available most days, but the Shrine's reconciliation page says only that the sacrament is celebrated daily and refers readers to the online schedule. The safest approach is to go in the morning, read the language signs on the confessional doors, and queue; on the 12th and 13th of the month expect long waits.
The Shrine does not publish opening hours for the Chapel of the Apparitions or the two basilicas. The first Mass of the day is at 7:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Apparitions and the last at 7:15 p.m., with the rosary and candlelight procession at 9:30 p.m., so the Chapel and the prayer area are in use from early morning until late evening every day; the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, where the tombs of Saints Francisco and Jacinta and of Sister Lúcia are, holds Masses at 7:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. The Chapel of the Blessed Sacrament inside the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity is open throughout the day for adoration.
On dress, the Shrine's visitor guidance asks for respect, silence, and cleanliness inside the prayer areas and warns pilgrims to look after their belongings; it posts no shoulders-and-knees rule as some Italian basilicas do. Ordinary modest clothing is the norm, and in summer a hat and water matter more on the exposed prayer area than any rule. Mass times are on the existing page about Mass at the Sanctuary.
