Before the week itself, the Days in the Dioceses run from July 29 to August 2 in the Korean dioceses outside Seoul, and short-term volunteers gather from July 26 for training and a commissioning Mass. The language groupings and venues for the catecheses had not been published as of October 2026, and the main event venues were still being finalized; the organizers will announce them through official channels.
The Vigil is the physical test of the week. All pilgrims walk to the Closing Mass venue on Saturday, pray and adore the Eucharist with the Holy Father, and spend the night in the open with their own sleeping bags; the organizers are preparing water, sanitation, waste and medical support, but the walking distance to the site had not been published. Priests may indicate their availability and languages for the Reconciliation Park when they register.
The Youth Festival spreads cultural, musical and spiritual events across the host diocese from Tuesday to Friday; groups and artists can propose activities to youthfestival@wydseoul.org. Expect July and August heat and humidity up to 38 °C, rain and possible typhoons, and plan each day around water, shade and rest.
